Leopard Spotted on the Loose in California! Residents of Santa Barbara were in for a surprise when they woke up yesterday morning to find a leopard on the loose! The big cat was first spotted by a woman out for an early morning walk, and several other sightings were reported throughout the day. Police and wildlife officials were called in to try to capture the leopard, but they had little success. The animal seemed to be very calm and didn't seem to be interested in attacking any humans. However, officials warned residents to stay away from the leopard and not to try to capture it themselves. The leopard remained at large for most of the day, until it finally disappeared into the nearby mountains. It's still not clear where the animal came from or how it got loose.
